Kia Introduces New Sport Sedan, the 2018 Stinger

The 2018 model year marks a significant new entry into the Kia lineup: the Kia Stinger sport sedan. Designed specifically for enthusiast driving and athletic looks, the new Stinger offers a truly unique experience among the Kia new model lineup.

The main distinction between the Stinger and previous Kia sedans is its purpose-built, sport-oriented design. Where previous Kia sedans have used front wheel drive for efficiency and comfort, the Stinger uses either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for a more vigorous experience.

It's more powerful under the hood, too, where drivers can choose from either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower or a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 with 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Engineers tuned the Stinger at the famous Nurburgring racetrack in Germany to ensure quality performance.

The Stinger's design is likewise athletic. Exterior lines run along a sloped roofline for a coupe-like silhouette. On the inside, luxury amenities and clean, minimalist design elements combine to make a refined cabin space.

Come see for yourself what the Stinger can do when it arrives at Kia of Wilmington in 2018.
