49,429. That is how many vehicles Kia sold within the month of March. According to kiamedia.com, these numbers bring the total year-to-date total sales to 127,728 vehicles. March monthly sales were lead overall by the 2017 Kia Forte which posted 10,289 units sold. The Kia Optima followed close behind with 10,204 total sales. For the Kia Forte, that marks its year-to-date sales number at 25,062 vehicles, and for the Kia Optima hits 26,945 so far this year.

The all-new 2017 Kia Niro has burst out of the gate recording over 2,700 vehicles in only its second full month of availability. This brings the year-to-date sales of its inaugural year to 4,889 units sold. But the SUV category was lead by the Kia Sorento with 7,751 units recorded sold, followed by the Kia Sportage with 5,560 units sold.

As far as hatchbacks go, the Kia Soul comes second to the Kia Forte, selling 8,426 units, bumping its year-to-date sales to 23,920. And Kia's minivan, the Kia Sedona recorded 2,769 units sold, making that 6,418 vehicles sold this year.
